Allantoin

Allantoin is a hydantoyl urea derivative, in a variety of organisms (especially mammals) is the catabolite of uric acid, 

it is produced by uric acid under the action of uric acid oxidase, under the catalysis of allantoinase, 

can continue to be converted into allantoic acid, and allantoic acid can be further converted into glyoxylic acid, urea and other metabolites.

allantoin is a white, odorless and tasteless crystalline powder, soluble in hot water, hot alcohol and dilute sodium hydroxide solution, 

slightly soluble in warm water and alcohol, insoluble in ether and chloroform and other organic solvents. 

It is non-toxic, non-irritating, non-allergic, used to be called anti-irritant. Allantoin is widely present in urine membrane fluid, 

sugar beet, wheat bud, tobacco seed and other plant and animal kingdom.

Function of Allantoin

1.Promote cell growth and accelerate wound healing:
