also known as Konjac Glucomannan, is a heteropolysaccharide formed from glucose and mannose joined by a β-1, 4-glucoside bond.

The efficacy of konjac glucomannan:

Konjac glucomannan (KGM) is a kind of natural macromolecular water-soluble polysaccharide extracted from Konjac,
which has various physiological activities and wide applications.

 

1. Medicinal value

1.1 Lowering blood sugar

Konjac glucomannan has a positive effect on glucose metabolism and can reduce blood sugar levels.
Studies have shown that the use of compound Konjac powder in the treatment of type 2 diabetes patients can reduce the fasting blood glucose rate
and 2 hours after meals blood glucose rate of 53% and 51%, and the decrease rate of HBA1c can reach 59.9%.

 

1.2 Lowering blood lipids
